Okay. Are you back? Good. Let me tell you the REAL story behind this album.

I’ve been quilting for years. It’s one of those hobbies that I honestly didn’t expect to take over part of my heart the way it has. There’s something about sitting down with fabric and a pattern and the slow, deliberate work of making something beautiful from pieces — it settles my nervous system in a way that almost nothing else does.

And I kept thinking: why isn’t there more music for this? Why doesn’t the quilting community have a soundtrack?

So I made one.

Quilt Anthems is an album of songs that live inside the world of quilting — but they’re also about so much more. They’re about patience. About the stories carried in fabric. About the women (and men!) who have sat at quilting bees throughout history, passing down patterns and secrets and love stitched into every seam. About making something with your hands that will outlive you.

I wrote these songs with full joy. Every single one. And I worked with Claude AI to develop the lyrics — workshopping each one until it felt exactly right — and then produced them in Suno AI to bring the sound to life. It was one of the most fun and creatively satisfying processes I’ve been through all year.

This album is for quilters, for makers, for everyone who loves the kind of slow beauty that comes from intentional handwork. And it’s for the people who love them.
