Let me be transparent about something that every independent artist thinks about but not enough talk about openly: playlists.

Specifically, getting on them.

Editorial playlists on Spotify and Apple Music are genuinely life-changing for independent artists. One placement on the right playlist and you go from your loyal, wonderful, irreplaceable core audience to thousands of new ears who have never heard of you but are suddenly hearing your song because the algorithm put it in their Sunday morning mix.

That is the dream. And I am actively, intentionally chasing it.

Here’s what I’m doing: making music that fits real playlist moods and moments. Seasonal music. Music for specific life situations. Music that a playlist curator can look at and say “yes, this fits.” The Summer State of Mind album was designed with pool party playlists in mind. Crisp Fall Air was built for cozy autumn afternoon playlists. 31 Days of Wisdom is practically begging for morning devotional playlists.

I’m also thinking about sync licensing โ€” getting songs placed in TV shows, movies, and commercials. That’s another piece of the puzzle, and it’s a goal I work toward consciously. Every project I develop, I’m thinking: where would this song live in a scene? What moment would it underscore perfectly?

It’s a long game. I know that. But I am playing it with everything I have.

Here’s the one thing YOU can do that actually moves the needle: follow me on Spotify and Apple Music. Genuinely. The follow count matters to algorithms and to playlist curators. It tells them: this artist has an audience.

Be part of making this dream happen โ€” follow on streaming today. ๐ŸŽถ
