Vibrant sunrise over hills with glowing musical notes in colorful sky

Okay. Secret’s out. Well โ€” sort of. I’ve been building something really special and I think it’s time I start talking about it.

I wrote 31 songs. One for every chapter of the Book of Proverbs.

Yes. Thirty-one.

The project is called 31 Days of Wisdom and the vibe is smooth jazz lo-fi โ€” think warm instrumentals, gentle grooves, something you’d put on for a quiet morning with your coffee or a late-night wind-down. My voice over that lush, unhurried backdrop, drawing out the themes of wisdom, humility, integrity, and hope that run through Proverbs like a river.

Here’s what I want to say about writing scripture-inspired music: I am not trying to write a Sunday school lesson. I am trying to write the human experience of wrestling with wisdom โ€” the moments when you KNOW the right thing and still struggle to do it, the places where ancient truth meets the chaos of a very modern life. The Proverbs aren’t just religious text to me. They’re deeply, uncomfortably relatable. “Pride comes before a fall” is not a Bible trivia answer. It’s Tuesday.

Every track has its own title, its own angle on that particular chapter. And I collaborated with Claude on every single one โ€” we workshopped lyrics, refined them, tore them apart, rebuilt them. It was one of the most creative and rewarding processes I’ve gone through.

This project is in production and I’ll have more details soon. But I wanted you to know it exists, because I am so proud of it.
