I’ve always loved Christmas. Not just the twinkling lights, the cozy gatherings, or the nostalgic carols—though I treasure all of that. What I love most is the story. The miraculous, world-changing, impossible-made-possible story of God stepping into human history as a helpless baby.
But somewhere along the way, I realized something: we’re telling the same beautiful Christmas story with the same beautiful songs, year after year. And while I’ll never stop singing “Silent Night” or “O Holy Night,” my heart kept asking, “Where are the new songs? Where’s the fresh music that digs into the prophecies, the miracles, the complete story—the joy AND the sorrow?”
That’s when “Christmas With The Saints” was born.

My Partnership with AI
I want to be transparent about something unique: I created this album in partnership with Claude, an AI assistant. As someone passionate about songwriting but navigating the creative process, I found an unexpected collaborator. Together, we spent hours crafting lyrics, exploring Scripture, and shaping melodies that honor the theological depth of Christ’s birth while staying musically accessible and contemporary.
This isn’t AI replacing human creativity—it’s AI amplifying it. Every theme, every theological emphasis, every emotional beat came from my heart and vision. Claude helped me articulate what was already burning inside me. It was like having an award-winning songwriter in the room, helping me refine and polish what God was laying on my heart.
Claude H. Becker: A Family Legacy
While you’ll see my artist name as Melanie Grace on streaming platforms, the published artist credit reads “Claude H. Becker”—and there’s a story there.
Growing up, my dad had this hilarious habit: wherever there was a guest book—weddings, funerals, hotels, golf clubs—he’d sign his name, and then somewhere else in the book, he’d write “Claude H. Becker.” It became this running family joke, this mysterious figure who showed up everywhere. When Dad passed, I started doing the same thing. It’s my way of keeping him present, of honoring his humor and memory.
So when it came time to publish this album about saints in heaven rejoicing with us at Christmas, naming it after “Claude H. Becker” felt perfect. Dad’s in heaven now, celebrating with the saints. This album is for him, for all of them, and for all of us still here, waiting to join that eternal chorus.

“Christmas With The Saints” is 10 songs that explore the complete Christmas story—from prophecy to birth, from celebration to sorrow, from darkness to unshakeable hope. It’s contemporary, it’s acoustic and orchestral, it’s intimate and anthemic. Most importantly, it’s TRUE.
The world needs more Christmas music that doesn’t shy away from Herod’s evil or Rachel’s tears. Music that connects the manger to the cross to the empty tomb. Music that reminds us Emmanuel didn’t just come once—He’s still with us.
This is my offering. My worship. My invitation for you to experience Christmas with fresh eyes and a full heart.
