    Hey everyone!

    It’s March 17th – St. Patrick’s Day – and I am SO ready to celebrate! 🍀

    If you’ve been following my “March Winds” album journey, you know that my Irish heritage runs DEEP through this entire project. Thirty-three percent of my DNA might not sound like a lot, but it feels like so much more. It’s in my bones. It’s in my stories. It’s in the way I see the world.

    Why Today Matters to Me

    You know what’s wild? My son’s due date was TODAY. March 17th. St. Patrick’s Day. I had these huge plans – imagined his 21st birthday would be the ultimate Irish celebration, surrounded by shamrocks and green everything.

    But he had his own timeline (as babies do), and he decided to make his entrance on March 18th instead. And honestly? It’s perfect. He gets his OWN day, not shared with a global holiday.

    I tell that whole story in “March Eighteenth” – one of the most personal songs on the album.

    I’ll raise a glass (or a cup of coffee, because “It Runs on Both Sides of the Family” and I’m breaking that pattern). And I’ll put on “Wearing Green” and dance in my kitchen.

    Because that’s what March 17th is for: celebrating heritage, honoring where we come from, and choosing what we carry forward.

    Whether you’re 100% Irish, 33% Irish, 0% Irish but love the celebration, or anywhere in between – today is YOUR day too.

    Alright, let’s be honest: St. Patrick’s Day is the ONE day a year when everyone claims Irish heritage. Suddenly everyone’s 1/16th Irish. Everyone’s wearing green. Everyone’s drinking Guinness (or green beer, which… we need to talk about that choice).

    And you know what? I LOVE IT.

    “The Day We’re All Irish” is my Celtic punk anthem celebrating the beautiful chaos of St. Patrick’s Day, when the whole world decides to be Irish for 24 hours. Let’s GO.

    The St. Patrick’s Day Phenomenon

    March 17th is wild. Rivers literally turn green. Parades fill the streets. People who can’t find Ireland on a map are suddenly experts on Irish culture. And everyone – EVERYONE – is wearing green.

    Is it authentic? Not always.
    Is it respectful of actual Irish culture? Debatable.
    Is it FUN? Absolutely.

    And here’s my take: if St. Patrick’s Day gets people excited about Irish heritage, if it makes them curious about the real stories and traditions, if it creates a day of celebration and connection – I’m here for it.

    Why Celtic Punk?

    Because St. Patrick’s Day ISN’T a quiet folk ballad. It’s not a tender moment of reflection. It’s LOUD. It’s CHAOTIC. It’s GREEN EVERYTHING and fiddles and drums and people dancing on tables.

    Celtic punk captures that energy PERFECTLY. Think Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly – that driving punk energy with traditional Irish instruments. Fast drums, aggressive guitars, and yes, a fiddle that goes HARD.

    “The Day We’re All Irish” is meant to be blasted at full volume. It’s meant to make you want to MOVE. It’s the soundtrack for a St. Patrick’s Day party that’s gotten delightfully out of hand.

    The Lyrics Tell The Truth

    This song doesn’t pretend St. Patrick’s Day is an authentic representation of Irish culture. It KNOWS what it is – a global party where everyone borrows Irish identity for a day.

    But here’s the thing: there’s something beautiful about that. There’s something powerful about a day when people from all backgrounds come together under one cultural banner and just… celebrate.

    Everyone’s Irish on March 17th? Fine. Let’s ALL be Irish together. Let’s wear the green. Let’s tell the stories (even if they’re not quite right). Let’s raise a glass. Let’s dance.

    The Real Ireland vs. The Party

    As someone who’s 33% Irish and takes my heritage seriously, I could be offended by the commercialization of St. Patrick’s Day. I could roll my eyes at the green beer and the leprechaun costumes.

    But instead, I wrote a CELTIC PUNK ANTHEM that says: you know what? Let’s party. Let’s celebrate. Let’s make some noise.

    Because the real Ireland? The real Irish culture? It’s full of music and laughter and gathering together and celebrating life. So in a weird way, St. Patrick’s Day DOES capture something authentic – the Irish love of a good celebration.

    What To Expect From This Single

    ENERGY. Pure, unfiltered, Celtic punk ENERGY.
