    Hey everyone,

    So… I did something I didn’t plan on doing.

    I wrote one more song.

    “Four Leaf Clover” wasn’t part of the original “March Winds” plan. It wasn’t on the folklore singles list. It wasn’t scheduled. It wasn’t expected.

    But it needed to exist. And now it does.

    Let me tell you why.

    The Story Behind the Surprise

    A few weeks ago, I was outside with my son. He was running around the yard, and I found myself just… looking at the grass. All those three-leaf clovers everywhere.

    And I thought: “What would it feel like to actually FIND a four-leaf clover?”

    Not just the physical act of finding one, but what it represents. That search for luck. That belief in magic. That hope that maybe, just maybe, you’ll stumble across something rare and special.

    So I sat down and wrote “Four Leaf Clover” in one sitting. The whole thing just poured out.

    And when I was done, I realized: this song is the PERFECT bookend to everything “March Winds” is about.

    What the Four Leaves Mean

    In Irish tradition, each leaf of a clover represents something:

    First Leaf: FAITH
    Second Leaf: HOPE
    Third Leaf: LOVE
    Fourth Leaf: LUCK

    Most clovers have three leaves. Faith, hope, and love – those are abundant. Those are everywhere if you know where to look.

    But that fourth leaf? That’s rare. That’s special. That’s the one-in-ten-thousand chance.

    And this song asks: what if we’ve been searching for luck when we already have faith, hope, and love? What if the real luck is just being alive to appreciate what’s already growing around us?

    The Lyrics Tell the Journey

    VERSE 1 – The Search
    I’ve been searching through the grass all afternoon
    Down on my knees beneath the moon
    Looking for that one in ten thousand chance

    This is all of us, isn’t it? Searching for that thing that will change everything. That lucky break. That perfect opportunity. That one special thing that will make life complete.

    VERSE 2 – The Realization
    Maybe I’ve been looking in the wrong place
    Maybe luck’s not something you chase
    Maybe it’s already here with me
    And I just need the eyes to see

    This is the shift. The moment when you start to wonder if you’ve been looking for the wrong thing all along.

    THE BRIDGE – The Discovery
    Wait, wait, I think I found it
    Right here in my hand, I’m holding it
    Four perfect leaves in morning dew
    Maybe luck was searching for me too

    THIS is my favorite part of the song. That moment of discovery. That joy. That realization that maybe you didn’t find luck – maybe luck found YOU.

    All this time I thought I needed more
    But faith and hope and love were at my door
    And luck, well luck is just being alive
    Four leaf clover, I survived

    “Luck is just being alive.” That’s it. That’s the whole message.

    We spend so much time searching for that fourth leaf – for luck, for that special thing that will make everything perfect – and we forget to appreciate the three leaves we already have. Faith. Hope. Love.

    And being ALIVE to experience all of it? That’s the rarest luck of all.

    How This Connects to “March Winds”

    Remember Track 14? “Bloom Where You’re Planted”?

    Remember Track 2? “Leprechaun’s Gold” – about chasing what glitters versus valuing what you have?

    “Four Leaf Clover” is the gentle sister to both of those songs. It’s saying the same thing, but with tenderness instead of power. With wonder instead of wisdom.

    It’s the realization that maybe you don’t need to find the rare thing. Maybe you need to appreciate the abundant things. Maybe the magic is already here.

    The Musical Journey

    This song starts GENTLE. Tender. Searching. Intimate verses with acoustic guitar, maybe some gentle strings, a little tin whistle to bring in that Irish folk feel.

    The verses are wistful – “where are you hiding?” – with that ache of wanting something just out of reach.

    But the bridge? The bridge is JOY. Pure discovery. The moment when everything clicks.

    And the final chorus? That’s gratitude. That’s celebration. That’s the realization that you’ve been standing in a field of magic all along.

    “Four leaf clover, you found me” – not “I found you.” Because maybe that’s how it works. Maybe luck finds us when we stop desperately searching and start appreciating what’s already growing around us.

    Why This Had to Be a Single

    I could have tucked this onto the album. Made it Track 16. But it felt like it needed to be its own moment.

    It’s a surprise. A gift. An extra thing you weren’t expecting – kind of like finding a four-leaf clover itself.

    And it’s my way of saying: here’s one more piece of the March story. Here’s one more Irish-themed song. Here’s one more reminder to appreciate what you have.

    Hey everyone,

    You know how some people do New Year’s resolutions? Like “I’m going to exercise more” or “I’m going to read 12 books this year”?

    Yeah, I decided to release 12 FULL ALBUMS in 2026.

    One for every month. Starting with “March Winds.”

    Am I crazy? Probably. Am I doing it anyway? Absolutely.

    Let me tell you why, and what’s coming.

    The Crazy Ambitious Plan

    2026 is my year of music.

    Here’s the vision:

    • 12 months
    • 12 complete albums (each with 10-15 tracks)
    • 12 different themes/stories
    • 150+ songs total by the end of the year
    • Plus folklore singles, bonus tracks, and who knows what else

    Each month gets its own album. Each album tells its own complete story. Each one is a full emotional journey.

    March got “March Winds” – Irish heritage, spring renewal, transformation.

    But what about the other 11 months?

    Why I’m Doing This

    Reason 1: I have too many stories.

    I write constantly. I have notebooks full of lyrics. I have concepts for albums I’ve been sitting on for YEARS. If I release one album a year like a “normal” artist, I’ll be 80 before I get through all the stories I want to tell.

    So why wait?

    Reason 2: Technology makes this possible.

    Using Suno AI for production means I’m not limited by studio costs or finding musicians or scheduling recording sessions. I can create professional-quality music on my own timeline and budget.

    This is the democratization of music creation. And I’m here for it.

    Reason 3: I want to prove it’s possible.

    I want other independent artists to see this and think “I could do that too.” I want to show that you don’t need a label. You don’t need millions of dollars. You need good stories, hard work, and the courage to just START.

    Reason 4: My kids are watching.

    I want them to see their mom pursuing big dreams. I want them to learn that when you have an idea that seems impossible, you can either talk yourself out of it OR you can figure out how to make it work.

    I’m choosing the second option.

    I can’t reveal everything yet (some albums are still being finalized!), but here are some hints:

    May: Flowers everywhere. This one’s going to be colorful and BRIGHT.

    June: Summer is coming. Something about freedom, sunshine, and long days…

    July: Fireworks? Freedom? Maybe a little Christmas in July. We’ll see… 🎆

    August: The heat of summer. Passion. Intensity.

    September: Transitions. Seasons changing. Back to something…

    October: Oh, this one’s going to be FUN. Think atmospheric. Think mysterious. 🎃

    November: We know I do Thanksgiving well (“My Thanksgiving” 2025!). But what else does November hold?

    December: Ending the year with… well, you’ll see. ❄️

    Some themes are obvious (October is CLEARLY going to be spooky-adjacent). Some are still cooking. But every single month will tell a complete story.

    The Production Reality

    Here’s how this works practically:

    Writing: I’m already drafting lyrics for April, May, and June. I write in batches.

    Production: Once lyrics are done, I work with Suno AI to produce. Each song gets 3-10 versions until I find the right one.

    Blogs: I write the blog series for each album – the stories behind the songs, the meanings, the context.

    Release: Drop the album, share the blogs daily, engage with listeners, and IMMEDIATELY start working on the next month.

    It’s a cycle. A rhythm. A year-long creative sprint.

    What I Need From You

    Patience: Some months might be stronger than others. This is AMBITIOUS. I’m learning as I go.

    Support: Stream the albums. Share your favorites. Tell people about this crazy project.

    Engagement: Tell me which albums you’re most excited for! Tell me which months’ themes call to you!

    Forgiveness: I’m human. I’m a mom. I’m doing this independently. Some things might not be perfect. But they’ll be REAL.

    Here’s what’s scary: what if I can’t pull this off?

    What if I hit June and I’m exhausted and I can’t write another album?

    What if people stop caring?

    What if the quality drops?

    What if this whole ambitious plan crashes and burns?

    But here’s what’s scarier: NOT TRYING.

    Looking back at 2026 and thinking “I could have done that monthly album thing but I chickened out.”

    THAT’S scarier than any failure.

    The Promise

    I promise you this: every album will be authentic. Every song will tell a real story. I won’t phone it in. I won’t release something just to hit a deadline if it’s not ready.

    Quality over quantity – but I’m aiming for BOTH.

    12 complete albums. 12 full stories. 12 months of music.

    Of all Irish folklore creatures, the banshee might be the most misunderstood. She’s not a monster. She’s not evil. She’s a messenger – and what she has to say is something no one wants to hear.

    “The Banshee’s Warning” explores grief, loss, and the way Irish culture approaches death with a unique mixture of fear, respect, and acceptance.

    What Is A Banshee?

    The banshee (bean sídhe in Irish, meaning “woman of the fairy mound”) is a female spirit whose wailing warns that someone in a family is about to die. Her cry – the keening – is unmistakable. High, mournful, otherworldly. Once you hear it, you know.

    Banshees are attached to old Irish families, particularly those with “O’” or “Mac” surnames. She’s not there to cause death – she’s there to announce it. To prepare the family. To mark the transition.

    Different families describe their banshees differently:

    • Some see a young woman combing her long hair
    • Some see an old crone washing bloodstained clothes in a river
    • Some see nothing at all – they only hear the wail

    But all agree: when the banshee cries, someone is leaving this world.

    Why This Song?

    I wrote “The Banshee’s Warning” because Irish culture has a unique relationship with death. We don’t shy away from it. We hold wakes. We tell stories. We laugh and cry and celebrate the life that was lived.

    The banshee fits into that tradition. She’s not a horror story – she’s a bridge between worlds. She acknowledges that death is coming, that grief is inevitable, and that some losses can be felt before they happen.

    This song is about premonition. About that feeling when you KNOW something’s ending. About the grief that starts before the loss is even complete.

    The Irish Tradition of Keening

    The banshee’s cry is called “keening” – and that’s also the name for the traditional Irish funeral practice where women would wail and sing laments for the dead. It was considered an essential part of honoring the deceased, of expressing communal grief, of letting everyone FEEL the loss together.

    The banshee, in a way, is the supernatural version of a professional keener. She mourns for families who have lost someone, her voice carrying across the night.

    What To Expect From This Single

    “The Banshee’s Warning” is haunting. Literally. This is the darkest of the folklore singles – minor key, ethereal vocals, that eerie feeling of something just beyond the veil.

    But it’s not horror. It’s sorrow. It’s the ache of knowing loss is coming and not being able to stop it. It’s about grief and acceptance and the thin place between life and death.

    Musically, think atmospheric folk with traditional Irish keening-style vocals woven in. This is my chance to explore the upper ranges of the Alto-Mezzo Soprano voice with those high, wailing notes that make your spine tingle.

    The Deeper Meaning

    Here’s what I want you to take from this: the banshee doesn’t cause death. She witnesses it. She marks it. She makes sure no one dies unnoticed or unmourned.

    And sometimes in life, we need to be banshees for each other. We need to acknowledge loss. We need to sit with grief. We need to let ourselves wail when something precious is ending.

    The banshee’s warning isn’t just about physical death. It’s about all the endings we face – relationships, chapters of life, versions of ourselves that we have to let go.

    And her cry says: I see you. I see what you’re losing. I’m here to witness it with you.

    Hey everyone!

    I am SO excited to finally share this with you. My new album “March Winds” is coming in March 2026, and honestly? This one feels different. This one feels like me.

    Why March? Why Now?

    Here’s the thing: I’m planning to release a new album every month in 2026. Yes, you read that right. MONTHLY ALBUMS. Am I crazy? Probably. But I’m also incredibly excited about it.

    And I’m starting with March because spring is my absolute favorite season. There’s something about those first warm days, about things coming back to life, about the way March can be both wild and gentle in the same afternoon. Plus, March holds one of the most important days of my life – March 18th, my son’s birthday. This album is personal in ways I didn’t even plan for.

    The Suno Journey: 53 Minutes That Took Hundreds of Listens

    Let me tell you about the production process because it was… intense. I used Suno AI to produce the music for this album, and I didn’t just hit “generate” and call it done. Each song went through 3-10 versions. That’s somewhere between 45-150 versions I listened to across 15 songs, finding the exact sound that matched what I was hearing in my head, what fit the story I needed to tell.

    Some songs clicked on version 3. Others? I listened to ten different arrangements before I found the one that made me go “THAT’S IT.” And “The Irish Goodbye”? That one came out PERFECT. I’m so proud of how that track sounds – it captures exactly the comedy and chaos I wanted.

    What to Expect: 15 Songs, One Journey

    This isn’t just a collection of songs about March. It’s a journey. Here’s where we’re going together:

    The Playful Opening (Tracks 1-3) We start light – “Leap Day” asks that delightful question: do I really get an extra day? “Twenty-Eight Days” keeps the fun rolling, and then “Wearing Green” kicks off the Irish celebration with pure joy. These first three songs are your warm-up, your invitation to the party.

    Getting Personal (Tracks 4-7) Then we shift. “March Eighteenth” is where I tell you about my son’s birth – it’s tender, it’s personal, it’s everything. “Irish Kitchen” wraps you in warmth and comfort food memories. And then? Comedy break! “I Guess That’s Where I Get It From” and “The Irish Goodbye” are here to make you LAUGH. Because we need that before what comes next.

    The Dark Truth (Tracks 8-9) This is where the album gets real. “Irish in My Bones” slows everything down and gets honest. And “It Runs on Both Sides of the Family”? That’s the heavy one. The dark satire. The truth about alcoholism that runs through my family tree. It’s the emotional low point, and it’s supposed to be. Because you can’t have renewal without facing what needs to be renewed.

    Spring Awakening (Tracks 10-12) Recovery begins with “First Thaw” – hope emerging, lighter cardigans, morning dew. “Robin’s Return” gives us breathing room with peaceful observation. “Seeds of Tomorrow” plants hope for the future with a gentle waltz that sways you back to your feet.

    The Powerful Finish (Tracks 13-15) Energy RETURNS with “March Winds” – wild, free, dancing in the chaos of spring storms. Then comes “Bloom Where You’re Planted,” my big vocal showcase moment, the power anthem that says “I’m here, I’m growing, I’m NOT going anywhere.” And we close with “Renewal,” soft but strong, transformation complete: “This is me.”

    What’s Coming Next

    Starting soon, I’ll be posting about each song individually. I’m going to share the lyrics, the stories behind them, what they mean to me, and why they found their place on this album. For the comedy songs, we’re going to have some fun. For the heavy ones, we’re going to get real.

    Before the full “March Winds” album drops on February 23rd, I want to share something special with you. I’m releasing a series of Irish folklore singles throughout February and March, and we’re starting with one of the most meaningful symbols in Irish culture: The Claddagh Ring.

    What Is The Claddagh Ring?

    If you’ve ever seen that distinctive Irish ring with two hands holding a crowned heart, you’ve seen a Claddagh ring. It’s one of Ireland’s most recognizable symbols, and the design carries deep meaning:

    The Hands represent friendship
    The Heart represents love
    The Crown represents loyalty

    Together, they form a complete symbol of what matters most in life: love, loyalty, and friendship.

    And the way you wear it? That tells a story too:

    • Right hand, heart facing out: You’re single and available
    • Right hand, heart facing in: You’re in a relationship
    • Left hand, heart facing in: You’re married or engaged

    Why This Song?

    I wrote “The Claddagh Ring” because I wanted to explore what these symbols REALLY mean. Not just as a cute ring you buy in a tourist shop, but as a philosophy for living.

    What does it mean to give someone your heart with loyalty and friendship built into the foundation? What does it mean to wear your commitment where everyone can see it? What does it mean to have love that’s held by friendship and crowned with loyalty?

    This folklore single is about relationships – romantic, yes, but also about how we love our friends, our family, our community. It’s about the Irish understanding that love without loyalty and friendship is incomplete.

    The Irish Heritage Connection

    The Claddagh ring originated in the fishing village of Claddagh in Galway, Ireland, over 400 years ago. The traditional story says it was created by a man named Richard Joyce who was captured by pirates and sold into slavery. While enslaved, he learned the goldsmith’s trade and created the ring as a symbol of his enduring love for the woman he left behind.

    When he was finally freed and returned to Galway, he discovered she had waited for him. He gave her the ring, and they married.

    That story – of love that endures through separation, of loyalty that doesn’t fade, of friendship strong enough to wait – that’s the soul of the Claddagh ring.

    “The Claddagh Ring” is tender, romantic, and deeply rooted in Irish tradition. Think folk ballad meets contemporary singer-songwriter. It’s the kind of song you’d want played at your wedding – or the song you’d listen to while looking at your Claddagh ring and remembering why you wear it.
