I have a dream – and you may already know it, but my dream is to record and release my very own Christmas Album THIS YEAR! over the past 3 years I have written a few songs and have had a pianist from Israel record the piano tracks for me, and I absolutely love his talent.
I plan to update you all on my progress, but I wont’ be putting much Blogs on it, so I encourage you to JOIN MY EMAIL LIST so I can update you there!
It has occured to me recently that I bought 90% of my latest wardrobe from Amazon! The Amazon Fashion has really stepped up it’s game and I have been loving it!
Over the summer of 2020, I was furloughed from work and without a job to go to and dress up for, I came to the relization that I had fancy clothes for the office and a few “casual” shirts for the weekends. But since I was no longer working and have 3 young kids – I NEEDED casual clothes! So I bought a few to make me look stylish!
All these shirts/blouses are all UNDER $20 each!!!!!! I ordered a Large in all of them to they fit a little relaxed so I would be more comfortable and all of them were perfect!
If you found me because of me recent YouTube video, welcome!!!!
I started English paper piecing a year ago and I absolutely loved it!! And still love it! I’m planning on making a Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt that will be completely paper pieced and I invite you to join the journey on my YouTube series in my EPP Vlogs!!
With your fabric is easiest to start by cutting strips.
Cut all pieces to 3″ strips and then use your 1.5″ hexagon paper to cut. Use an “add a quarter” ruler to make cutting easy!
Then – we glue! Make sure if you’re doing a Grandmother’s Flower Garden you choose 1 fabric to be the center of each flower. I am using yellow. I’m also using a layer cake for the petals.
once you have all your hexes glue basted it’s time to start prepping your flowers. I chose to keep all my colors the same so each flower is the same color. when putting them together I kept them in their color order cuz as you can see the orange and the salmon are pretty close in color. If I was doing this in a dark area I might get confused and mix them up.
Now it’s time to start stitching. First you’re going to sew two pedals together and then another two and then another two. This way you should have three sets of two petals and then your one center pedal
Then things get a little difficult when you start sewing them all together You’re going to have to fold some hexies in order to get perfect stitches.
From where information and details on how to stitch them completely together go visit my YouTube site!
Thank you for stopping by! Have you listened to my most recent podcast episode where I go on a rant about Carrie Underwood’s new Christmas album and how she just sang over 30 PUBLIC DOMAIN Christmas songs! I mean give me a break!
Here’s the screenshot from Spotify! 31 songs!!!! WTF
I cannot believe that this is almost 2 hours of her singing just generic Christmas songs! Such a disappointment from such a fantastic singer and artist.
In other news stay on pins and needles for one day I will record vocals for my song The Magic with Santa, Packages and Presents, and Christmas is Coming.
They must have paid a boatload to put advertisements on Spotify to listen to her new album.
